Alpha-Stim is a handheld medical device that delivers a patented waveform of microcurrent through small earclip electrodes, or through probes and pads when you are treating pain. Sessions run twenty to sixty minutes while you read, work, or watch television.

Do I need a prescription for Alpha-Stim?
In the United States, yes — Alpha-Stim is a prescription medical device. I can explain how it works, what the research shows, and what to ask about; a licensed provider writes the prescription. In many other countries it is available over the counter.
Is it safe to use alongside my medication?
Forty years of Alpha-Stim research has produced no evidence of drug interaction. That said, any change to your medication is a decision between you and your prescriber. I do not make medical recommendations and I will not ask you to stop anything.
What does a consultation cost?
Nothing. You are not obligated to buy anything, and I will not put you on a follow-up list you did not ask for.
Can I just order directly from the manufacturers?
You can, and the links are right on this page. What you get from a conversation is the part a website cannot do: someone applying the details to your situation and telling you honestly when the answer is no.
How quickly do people notice a difference?
It varies, and I would rather set a realistic expectation than an impressive one. Alpha-Stim users often report relief during or shortly after early sessions, with effects that build over weeks of consistent use. ASEA is a daily supplement, so give it the same patience you would give any nutrition change.
Do you work with people outside Charlotte?
Yes. Consultations happen by phone or video, and products ship nationwide.
